Domestic handset maker Lava has launched a new budget phone- A93 in its A-line of smartphones. The device has been priced at Rs 7999 and is listed on the company’s official website.The Lava A93 sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels of screen resolution and 267 ppi. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 2GB RAM and smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. On the photography front, the device sports an 8MP rear camera with HDR, Photo Timer and a 2MP selfie-camera.The smartphone is backed by a 3000 mAh removable battery with Power Saver Mode. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0 and G-sensor. The phone will be available in Gold and Grey colour options. Launched at Rs 7999, the phone will compete against the likes of Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, InFocus Turbo 5 and Moto C Plus.
