Lady Cards Place 2nd At St. Bart’s Tourney

first_imgThe St. Louis 8th Grade Girls traveled to St. Bart’s for a tournament on Saturday, February 1st.  Overall we came in as the runners up against some good competition.  Game 1 we played St. Bart’s and the championship game we played St. Charles. In the championship game, we played St. Charles of Bloomington.  While we weren’t able to pull off the win against this polished team we had fun playing them.  The final score was 52-28.  Scoring for SLS were Claire Saner and Kate Weber both with 8pts, Catherine Streator with 7 pts, Rhea Miller with 3 pts, and Sadie Wachsmann with 2 pts.  We pulled a lot away from this game and our girls played a great game overall.  Nice job ladies! Courtesy of Cardinals Coach Erin Trenkamp. We won against St. Bart’s with a final score of 50-15.  Scoring for SLS was Kate Weber with 10 pts, Catherine Streator with 9 pts, Clarie Saner with 7 pts, Madison Wanstrath with 6 pts, Rhea Miller with 4 pts, Lilly Schebler with 4 pts, Sadie Wachsmann with 4 pts, Izza Wonnell with 3 pts, and Ava Owens with 1 pt.  They played a great game and advanced to the champ game following this one.last_img read more
